5 Concerts and Festivals to Attend this Summer as a Millennial

Millennials —we are a diverse generational cohort shaped by rapid technological change, economic upheaval, and shifting social norms. Dare I say we are the better generation since we are comfortable with technology, the most highly educated generation and emphasize authenticity, diversity, and social responsibility. We are also the first generation who started therapy collectively.

We also have the best music. Millennial tastes have revived interest in nostalgia (90s and early 2000s culture, vinyl records). We made hip-hop mainstream and want to celebrate the artists we love. We also want to feel comfortable and catered to. Here’s some concerts and festivals to attend this summer to celebrate millennial nostalgia:

Jeezy’s music represent Trap Music as one of my favorite lines “Dope Boy 95 Air Max On.” He is actually the first rapper I saw in concert and instantly I fell in love with his energy, cadence, and thug motivation.
