There are a number of conferences that are designed to empower, inspire, and provide networking opportunities in various industries. Here’s 10 conferences that black women should consider attending in 2026:
1. NSBE Convention
Where: Baltimore, Maryland
When: March 18-22, 2026
The National Society of Black Engineers ( NSBE) Convention is a premier event for black engineers and technology professionals. The conference will feature workshops and networking opportunities and a career fair.
2. AMEC Conference
Where: Pittsburg, PA
When: April 1-5, 2026
The AMEC conference is for medical professionals and offers educational workshops and programs focused on “academic and clinical success, professional development, and personal growth,” according to the website.
The conference offers a wide of speakers including physicians, residency program representatives, and partners from around the country.
3. Jack and Jill of America National Convention
Where: Baltimore, Maryland
When: July 2026
Jack and Jill of America is a membership organization dedicated to nurturing future Black leaders by strengthening children through leadership development,volunteer service, and philanthropic giving.

4. NABJ Conference (National Association of Black Journalists )
Where: Atlanta, GA
When: August 12-16, 2026
NABJ conference is held annually and focuses on providing networking opportunities for attendees, including panel discussions , workshops, and receptions where attendees can connect with other black journalists as well as industry leaders from news organizations and other media companies .There are also opportunities for attendees to participate in job fairs and other professional development activities.
5. Invest Fest

Invest Fest is a financial education event focusing on wealth building with speakers and networking opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors. The speakers will provide insight on government money and taxes, discussion on stocks, real estate, insurance, and estate planning.
