How to Spend Luxury Weekend in Dallas
Dallas, Texas, is a vibrant metropolis known for its blend of modern urban life and rich cultural heritage. As the third-largest city in Texas, Dallas offers a mix of economic opportunity, cultural experiences, and recreational activities, making it a notable destination in the southern United States.
I typically visit Dallas every year since my bestfriend lives there. We like to indulge in luxury experiences. Here’s how to have a luxury weekend in Dallas:
Where to Stay: Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek
Rosewood Mansion in Dallas is luxurious and relaxing. The mansion hotel features custom furnishings and textiles inspired by motifs from the 1920s estate. The Grand Deluxe room features sitting area and balcony. The bathroom is updated with all gold appliances. The mansion includes a restaurant, a bar, and an afternoon tea session.
Indulge in their luxury services such as spa, pampered pets, and even a test drive of a Lexus.
Where to Eat:
Visit Café Dior for brunch to celebrate artistry, elegance, and craftsmanship that defines Christian Dior. This café features a tea time with chicken salad sandwiches, tuna tartlet, and variety of teas (with the option of adding champagne). For the brunch menu, indulge in salmon, gourmet chicken, or even salad.
The ambiance and the aesthetic are inspired by Christian Dior and is great for photo op, ladies gossip session, and luxury experience.
Dinner: The Evelyn
Visit The Evelyn—a stunning old Hollywood inspired steakhouse in Design District. This restaurant has 3 separate rooms with their own aesthetic and vibe.
Great cocktails such as lemon drop and $150 martini with caviar in the olives. Now that’s lux! Some appetizers options include calamari, cauliflower, and wagyu beef. For entrée, the options include lamb chops, Sea Bass, and of course Steaks.
They even have a lounge area inspired by the 70s with disco ball.
Things to Do:
Perfume Making Class:
A lux girl loves to smell good. A perfume making class is a perfect activity for the weekend. Visit Coco and Shea in Deep Ellum for this activity. Your $135 ticket includes welcoming glass of champagne, a specialty cocktail, a cute charcuterie and 30 ML fragrance.
Include a good spa in your itinerary by visiting World Springs Spa. This spa is an outdoor social-wellness destination designed to help every guest recharge, reconnect and feel better. Check out my review and book an evening session.
Sports Event: Dallas Cowboys, Mavericks, Dallas Wings
Sports are popular in Dallas so splurge on a sports event ticket. I love going to a Dallas Wings basketball game. Football season is near and Dallas Cowboys is the american team so the games are lively and entertaining.
A weekend in Dallas offers a blend of rich history, modern attractions, and vibrant cultural experiences. Dallas combines southern charm with big-city amenities, making it a luxury destination for a weekend getaway. Remember to explore and find some other luxury experience to include in your weekend.
